What can you do with leftover candle jars?
There are loads of things you can do with your leftover candle jars! I’m not sure how large your jars are, but if they’re anything close to a mason jar size, you can do just about anything with them!
First of all, you can make your own candles. That way you’re not buying more candles and acquiring more jars… you can just keep reusing what you have! It’s not hard to do and you can customize your candle to whatever color and scent you’d like.
Here’s a few:
A few ideas off the top of my head:
- If sterilized in boiling water than can be used to store dry foods, such as beans, pasta, chilis, spices, etc
- I always like to have a few jars on hand to pour grease into (such as from ground beef). Once at room temperature it’ll be solid and go into the trash can
- You can use them to store duck/bacon grease in the fridge
- Make your own candles!
- Use them for food preservation (as long as they’re airtight)
- Build a terrarium
- Pour potpourri in one and leave in your livingroom
- Use them in crafts, or to just store pens, pencils, knick knacks
